Helping you explore your life
Therapeutic Approaches
Beliefs
I engage with you to help you understand the relationship between your beliefs about yourself and the world, and your physical and emotional well-being. Sometimes, this might include experimenting with different ways of thinking and behaving, in accordance with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Metaphors
I help you explore emotional and relational patterns in your life, in accordance with psychodynamic therapy. This may involve looking at childhood experiences.
Stories
I encourage you to work together with people who know you, and with the natural environment, to find different perspectives on your life story, as proposed in Narrative Therapy.
Symbols
I regard symbols as the language of the spiritual part of each of us and encourage self-discovery through creative expression in a variety of media. I also engage in dream work.
